RADIOGRAPHER/MULTI MODALITY

Job Description:

RADIOGRAPHER/MULTI MODALITY

Provide diagnostic imaging services by using computed tomography and digital x-ray. Must have the ability to work in both modalities according to schedule. Call schedule, holidays and shift rotation required per department needs.

A dual modality technologist will be able to float between both modalities and should be able to work independently and with a team.

CT - Uses appropriate protocols for exams

Consult with Radiologist when necessary

Perform exams, position patients in a timely manner

Identify deficiencies in image quality, correct as necessary

Communicate with other departments and providers

X-ray - Consistently and accurately maneuver equipment

Use 2 patient identifiers

Assess patient's ability to withstand exam

Perform clerical duties when necessary, i.e. entering orders

Must have current ARRT

Must have current MA license

Heartsaver or BLS certified
