Critical Care Resource Team RN Per Diem

Job Description:

Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is offering an exciting opportunity for experienced Critical Care nurses to join our Critical Care float pool. As a Registered Nurse in Critical Care, you will work in the different critical care units such as the new neurosciences ICU and PCU, SICU, MICU, the Cardiac Critical Care/ICU unit as well as PCU when needed.

This is an excellent opportunity to take advantage of our exceptional preceptors and clinical critical care training programs. After you attend our exceptional Critical care training program, we will provide additional training tailored to your interests and educational needs.

Preferred Requirements:

1 - 3 years or more of critical care experience in an acute care unit. Experience in the following areas: Liver/Kidney transplant experience, Neurosurgery, Cardiac disorders, Respiratory failure and/or Neurocritical care is desired.

American Heart Association - ACLS certification preferred.

American Association of Critical Care Nurses Progressive Care Registered Nurse (PCCN) certification or (CCRN) certification.

Applicants demonstrating a strong interest in the critical care specialty are preferred.

Minimum Requirements:

BSN strongly preferred

At least 1 year of Critical Care experience required

A minimum of 1 years in an acute care setting with med/surg telemetry experience.

Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse License.

Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLs or American Red Cross BLS certification required.
